Morgan J. Black
Returning to academic life with a renewed vigour, I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Victoria and a Hakai Scholar. Co-supervised by Drs. Francis Juanes and Sarah Dudas in the field of Marine
Ecology.
My graduate research is studying the ecology and biodiversity of ancient clam gardens.
I am very passionate about the marine environment with a particular soft spot for the northeast Pacific. I love being on the water and under it. My fiancé Jesse, and I, are both certified CAUS scientific divers and commercial vessel operators.

If you apprieciate underwater photography, check out my GALLERY and also visit my colleague Kieran Cox’s page.
